I recently had the honor of speaking with Rob Fontenot for the Astros Baseball Podcast about Ken Caminiti.

We talked about the journey of my book and Ken’s impact with the Astros. There were lots of highlights from Ken’s Houston years, as well as the weight of unmet expectations. It would have been special to see the Astros reaching the playoffs in 1994 … but then the strike wiped out the end of the season, and the team found itself looking to shed payroll, and Ken became expendable.
