Team USA on Friday did what all of us do when Griffey is at the plate — they crowded around and watched their hitting coach’s BP session.

Griffey hasn’t played since 2010, but his swing is still silky smooth, and he’s still wearing the backwards cap. He even took one pitch deep and flipped his bat.

It’s so cool seeing the other players so excited to watch Griffey hit. This was a moment for them, too.
