My recent interviews include a focus on Fernando Tatis Jr., and whether "The Sandlot" deserves so much love.

I had the honor of appearing on KPBS Roundtable on Friday to discuss the suspension of Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr., and how the situation compares and contrasts with Ken Caminiti’s use of steroids during the 1990s.

The lively chat included KUSI sports reporter Allison Edmonds and MLB reporter Maria Torres from The Athletic. You can listen to that interview here.

I also recently spoke with Jason Tabrys for his "In the Gap" podcast — the discussion was wide ranging and involved childhood fandom, the hypocrisy surrounding steroids in baseball, and baseball movies (and why "The Sandlot" doesn't hold up so well).

The conversation was a lot of fun! Jason is awesome and regularly interviews people much more interesting than me. You can listen to our discussion here.
