Interview: The Twin Bill
The interview captured the heart of my book and my perspectives on Ken Caminiti.
I appreciated the conversation I shared with Scott Bolohan of the literary baseball site The Twin Bill, and I’m proud that our conversation has been published.
I think it really captures the heart of my book and my perspectives on Ken Caminiti.

We loved chatting with @Dgood73 about his new book, Playing Through the Pain on the life of Ken Caminiti. Really fascinating look at the steroid era and Caminiti the person.

As Scott wrote, “Through meticulous research and stories that bring the greatness of Caminiti to life, the book is also a reminder that he was a beloved teammate and kindhearted human. It recontextualizes the Steroid Era through a person—and all the people that were affected by his decisions.”
The corresponding illustration by Jason David Córdova provided a powerful presence, too.
